How We Help Field Service Companies Take Control of Inventory & Warehouses

Over the years, we have always heard that inventory is a pain. So—we set out to change that:
We have made a field service focused inventory, making the tools for managing remotely and in the field when needed. Real time inventory, which is not based on when invoiced. Granular permissions makes it so accounting doesn’t have to do everything that is needed, all while evolving to improve on the limitations faced in the field.

Receiving Purchase Orders

Let’s take a look quickly:
On every purchase order (e.g. PO 6264) there is four different ways to receive them:

  • Serial Numbers
  • Serial Numbers & Expiry
  • Expiry Only
  • Quantity only

Another thing to note is that all items can easily be received to
any warehouse. This is very useful, for example, if directly adding inventory from a supplier to a service van. FIFO and average cost inventory costing are supported with this field service focused inventory system.

Warehouse Functions

  • Transfers
  • Adjustments
  • Granular permissions on a per warehouse basis so you can give your users access to pick, adjust, transfer. This will allow your techs to handle transfer from the main warehouse to their service van, if you choose.

Let’s jump to a work order, (e.g. WO 9) where every item that has been added to any warehouse:

  • Selecting the warehouse when adding items and find any item to add on the service tab on the work order
  • Barcodes are also supported when selecting items from inventory (on mobile)

Reports

We have many ways to see reports:

  • Types of reports
    • Inventory Count
    • Inventory Valuation
    • Inventory Usage
    • Ledger Report
  • Filters on reports
    • Date Ranges
    • Warehouses
    • Users
